This Frisco Commons Park Trail is dedicated by the residents of Frisco, Texas to honor Corporal Courcy, age 22, was serving as a U.S. Army infantryman with D Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division on February 10, 2009 when he was killed in action by a vehicle borne improvised explosive device near Khost, Afghanistan. Corporal Courcy was laid to rest at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
