This Frisco Commons Park Trail is dedicated by the residents of Frisco, Texas to honor Platoon Sergeant Hill, age 25, was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps with the 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division on July 21, 1944 when he died of wounds he received during the Second Battle of Guam. Platoon Sergeant Hill was laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery, Frisco, Texas.

Sergeant Hill’s brother, Army Private Neville Hill, also answered the call to serve, demonstrating the same deep commitment to duty during the war.
