1. Primrose Farm Marker
In 2012, the Harding Land Trust, working with Harding Township and the Trust for Public Land, preserved this 115-acre property known as Primrose Farm. The property was acquired with funds from NJ Green Acres, Morris County Open Space Trust Fund, Harding Township, Harding Land Trust, Trust for Public Land, Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority, and Great Swamp Watershed Association. The property contains wetlands and important watershed lands adjacent to both Primrose Brook and the Passaic River. Conservation of the property protects drinking water for communities downstream and preserves wildlife habitats on site and in the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge.
