1. Bicentennial Park Marker

Inscription.
A 5+ acre city park was opened on this site in 1954. In 1975 Mayor Harold Bacchus obtained a grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife which provided funds to improve the park. It was renamed in 1976 as part of Frisco’s celebration of our country’s 200th year. With later land purchases the park today covers 6+ acres.
