Shortly before Polaroid sold their first instance cameras…
…the Reptile House on Greenspring Avenue opened. The building previously served as a pumping station and as the original Baltimore Aquarium.

The old Reptile House is no longer part of the Zoo's property. Instead, reptiles are cared for in immersive spaces throughout the campus, including Maryland Wilderness and Chimpanzee Forest.

Erected 2026 by The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.
