C.A. 1880 Victorian Commercial Brick Building
Records dating back to April 1898 indicate this building housed a first floor jewelry store with a dentist office upstairs. According to Virginia Division of Historic Landmarks, this building one of the oldest extent commercial structures in Blackstone. The interior was gutted by fire in the mid-1980's and the structure was lovingly restored by Francis Gilmore and Sara Ryan in 2007.
This building is listed by the United States Department of the Interior National Park Service as a contributing structure on the National Register of Historic Places.
