1. Alte Apotheke / Old Pharmacy Marker

Die zusammen mit dem ehemaligen Scheunen- und Remisengebäude denkmalgeschützte „Alte Apotheke“ ist die erste und damit älteste Apotheke in Feuerbach. Sie ist ein gutes Beispiel einer Dorfapotheke aus dem 19. Jh., die 1884 nach Zustimmung der Königlichen Regierung vom Apotheker Paul Eugen Hölzle eröffnet wurde. Die „Alte Apotheke“, ein verputztes Fachwerkhaus, erhielt ihren Namen um das Jahr 1930. Im Jahre 1991 wurde sie von Dr. Petra Steinbeck renoviert und neu eröffnet.

(English Translation)
The protected Old Pharmacy, together with its former barn and carriage house, was the first and is therefore the oldest pharmacy in Feuerbach. It is a good example of a 19th-century village pharmacy. Pharmacist Paul Eugen Hölzle opened it in 1884 after receiving approval from the Royal Government. The plastered half-timbered building became known as the Old Pharmacy around 1930. Dr. Petra Steinbeck renovated and reopened it in 1991.
