Weston in Lenawee County, Michigan — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
Cole
In memory of Ezra & Angeline Cole
Way back in eighteen thirty five in nature's wilds we came,
through dark wild woods we cut our way to make this farm our home,
here we have toiled through all these years, here ends our earthly race,
here this bronze monument will mark our lone, long resting place,
here these same hands that cleared this farm will moulder back to dust,
here we shall rise beyond the skies, to God in whom we trust.
Our children.
