Inscription.

The historic cargo crane on the Neckar was manufactured by the Mohr & Federhaff engineering company in 1860. Johannes Schweizer (1779–1850) founded the workshop in 1801, specializing in the calibration of scales and weights. During the second half of the 19th century, under the leadership of commercial councilor Hermann Mohr (1846–1902) and businessman Gustav Federhaff (1858–1893), it developed into a company with a worldwide reputation. automobile, also worked here as the company’s first technical employee and designer. He helped the company achieve international recognition well into the 20th century with its range of products, particularly cargo cranes and testing machines. Its order books recorded exports to other European countries and overseas, including Japan, China, and South Africa. This successful history ended during the recession of the early 1980s. Mohr & Federhaff stopped production in 1981.
