Inscription. Elk Grove Village has been heralded as one of the 50 Fabulous Places in the United States to raise a family. From its inception through today, family life remains of paramount importance to the Elk Grove Village community.

The youth of Elk Grove Village were in the thoughts of the original founders as neighborhoods were created around award winning schools, spacious parks, innovative recreational programs, and the wonderful family amenities of the Busse Woods Forest Preserve. Within this planned community. Elk Grove Village formed a living environment where our past youth return to raise their families in the community where they were once raised themselves.

Elk Grove Village is a vibrant community with residents who share their time, talents, and energy, as well as their mentoring and guidance, for the betterment of our current and future generations. Our residents have embraced a commitment to develop our youth to become productive citizens, and to involve our youth in maintaining and enhancing our exceptional community.
