Pond's (3d) Brig., Ruggles' (1st) Div., Bragg's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.
This regiment came into position here about 5.30 p.m., April 6, 1862 and assisted in the capture of a part of the 23d Mo.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 372.)
