Army of the Tennessee, 14th Illinois, 25th Indiana, Veatch's (2d) Brigade, Hurlbut's (4th) Division. These regiments, in order as above, were engaged here at about 5 P.M. April 6, 1862. They retired to a position near the siege guns.
