1. Jacob Motte House Marker
Inscription. Standing on land bought from Robert Tradd, which was part of lot 60 of "Grand Modell" of 1672. Early Georgian house built by Jacob Motte, prominent Huguenot and one time royal treasurer of province. Original paneling from second floor living room is in city arts museum of St. Louis. Remainder of house has original paneling.
 
Erected 2003 by The Preservation Society of Charleston.
