1. Red Boiling Springs Marker
Inscription. In the early 1900's this town was a flourishing resort because of the many types of mineral water found here. This popular retreat attracted city dwellers and rural families from this region who were accommodated by the many hotels. The town was heavily damaged by floods in June, 1969.
