Pond's (3d) Brig., Ruggles' (1st) Div., Bragg's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

This regiment was engaged here from 2.30 p.m. to 4. 30 p.m., April 6, 1862. It then moved to the left and forward to camp of 3d Iowa.
