41st Ill., 28th Ill., 32d Ill., 3d Iowa,
Hurlbut's (4th) Division,
Army of the Tennessee.

This brigade, with its regiments in order from left to right as above, formed on this line about 9 a.m. April 6, 1862. It was engaged about 30 minutes and then fell back 300 yards.
