38th Tenn., 18th La., Orleans Guard, 16th La.,
Pond's (3d) Brig., Ruggles' (1st) Div.,
Bragg's Corps.

These regiments retired to this place about 5 p.m., April 6, 1862 and bivouacked here Sunday night, "The right at Oglesby's headquarters, the left towards Owl Creek". They occupied this position until 9 a.m., April 7th.
