Russell's (1st) Brig., Clark's (1st) Div., Polk's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

The 22d Tennessee and part of the 11th Louisiana were engaged here at about 2.30 p.m. April 6, 1862. They moved into the valley of Tilghman Creek and up that valley to the place of Prentiss' surrender.
