Statham's (3d) Brigade, Breckinridge's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

This battery, of six guns, was in action here about noon April 6, 1862. It was advanced to Peach Orchard and then reported to Ruggles.

Marker can be reached from Eastern Corinth Road, 0.2 miles south of Peabody Road, on the left when traveling south. 400 yards northeast of northeast corner of Spain's Field on a trail in the woods.
