2. Marker in Ringwood State Park
Robert Erskine was an ironmaster at Ringwood prior to and during the American Revolution. His forge supplied cannon, shot and chain links for the American Army. He also served as Geographer and Surveyer General making numerous highly detailed maps for General Washington.
