1. White Rocks Marker

Inscription. The cliffs to the north were a familiar landmark along the Wilderness Road which was blazed by Daniel Boone in March, 1775, and which was the principal route from Virginia to Kentucky. They are part of the Cumberland Mountains.

Erected 1967 by Virginia Historic Landmarks Commission. (Marker Number K-7.)
