Inscription.
In memory of
Jeff Allen and Shane Heath,
Indianola Helitack Crew members,
lost in the Cramer Fire near here on
July 22, 2003.
This will be a lasting place of remembrance and gratitude for their lives and service, a place for wildland firefighters to reflect in their memory, and a reminder to all who are involved with firefighting -from those on the line to those up the line - to find a way to bring everyone back safely from every fire.

Jeff "Phro" Allen
January 17, 1979 - July 22, 2003.
Jeff loved life, his family, his girlfriend and his friends.
He was a loving, compassionate, great guy and an all around athlete.
We love him and miss him everyday.

Shane W. Heath
September 18, 1980 - July 22, 2003.
A very beloved Son, Brother and friend Who is Missed by All.
Shane lived by his motto:
"Do what you love so you Love what you do."
