1. Richard J. Gatling Marker
Inscription. Inventor of the Gatling gun and of numerous agricultural implements, was born September 12, 1818, in a house which stands 400 yards north.
 
Erected 1942 by Department of Conservation and Development. (Marker Number A-26.)
