1. Gen. Reynolds Death Monument
The Reynolds Monument is located in Herbst Woods. Reynolds fell in the opening hours of the Battle of Gettysburg, on July 1, 1863, while leading the 2nd Wisconsin against the attacking Confederates of Heth's Division.

8. Reynolds Equestrian Statue
This equestrian statue of Gen. John Reynolds is located on the Chambersburg Pike, not far from the Death Monument. Two of the horse's hoofs are off the ground, signifying that Reynolds died in the battle.
