Regarding "Lest We Forget". Eliza Anne PAYNE Green was born on 18 Mar 1806 in Clifton (Fauquier County), Virginia. She married Duff Green of Falmouth on Dec. 23, 1824, the Reverend John Jones officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Green had ten children: Col. William Green, Alexander M. Green, Elizabeth Marion Green, James Lane Green, McDuff Green, Arthur Payne Green, Isabella Green, Elvira L. Green, and Nannie Green.
