Inscription.  The Colwood Pioneer Cemetery was established in the 1890's on land donated by Alfred Thomas Peatt. Originally the site included St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church. The Colwood Women's Institute maintained the cemetery from 1925 to 1993, and then responsibility was transferred to the City of Colwood.

This cairn is a generous gift of the Acres and Aubrey families of Colwood in loving memory of Bert and Agnes Parker.
