1. O'Brien Corner Marker
Inscription. The southwest corner of what is now US 50 and Michigan Road was once occupied by a log tavern later converted to a home with clap board siding. The home was part of the Underground Railroad prior to the Civil War. William O’Brien purchased this section of land in 1864. Many of the O’Brien Family rest in the cemetery just west of here.
