People Make the Difference
One person stands out in his support. Representative Richard Mangus worked tirelessly for his beloved Potato Creek during his 32 years (1972-2004) in the Indiana General Assembly. His efforts helped to fund a bike trail, family cabins and many other facilities visitors use each day.
One of Representative Mangus’ dreams for Potato Creek was the development of an inn overlooking Worster Lake. Someday, we hope to see that dream realized.
Representative Mangus and many others have made a difference at Potato Creek State Park. Will you? Discover the plants, animals and facilities of the park. Enjoy these resources wisely. Volunteer your time or ask at the Nature Center for other ways you can help.
