Additional commentary. 1. John Azor Kellogg "The remains of Gen. J. A. Kellogg, which were buried at Wausau fourteen years ago with military honors, were removed last week to Faribault, Minnesota, by his relatives. He was a gallant soldier and at the time of the surrender of Gen. Lee at Appomattox, he was in command of the illustrious Iron Brigade." —Marshfield Times, Friday, May 21, 1897, Marshfield, Wisconsin
