Inscription. English:
(Grenadiers of Battalions left at Louisbourg) formed the right of the actual front, which, itself, formed the first two-deep “thin red line” the world had ever seen 13th September 1759.


French:
Constituaient la droite de la ligne ouverte à deux rangs formée les “habits rouges” sur toute la longueur de front, première formation du genre que le monde eût connue. 13 septembre 1759.
