The route traveled by the 52 American hostages from Stewart Airport to West Point after their release from captivity in Iran January 25, 1981.

52 Americans, who were held hostage by Iranian militants for 444 days from November 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981, passed this point when they finally returned home to America.
