1. Mausoleum of Sultan Ahmed I Marker
Inscription. English:
Mausoleum of Sultan Ahmed I (1603-1617) is located at the northeast part of Sultanahmet Kulliye. There is a darülkurra (a part of a madrasah) behind this mausoleum surrounded with wall and a building on the corner, in front of porticos, which was a former public fountain converted into a muvakkithane (the place in which the Muslims used to get information about prayer times) in 19th century and is used as Mausoleums Museum Directorate now.

After the death of Sultan Ahmed I in 1917 (sic), the construction of the mausoleum was started in 1617-1618, during the period of Sultan Mustafa I (1617-1618/1622-1623), and completed in 1619, during the period of Sultan Osman II (1618-1622).

Sultan Ahmed I, his sons Sultan Osman ll, Sultan Murad IV; Kösem Sultan (also known as Mahpeyker Sultan), daughters and sons of Ahmed I, Osman ll, Murad IV and Sultan lbrahim Sultan were buried in this mausoleum. The mausoleum was arranged as a museum and opened to visit by Istanbul Mausoleums Directorate.

Osman (1618-1622) döneminde 1619'da tamamlanmıştır.br Türbede Sultan I. Ahmet, oğulları Sultan Il. Osman, Sultan IV. Murad, Kösem Valide Sultan (Mahpeyker Sultan), I. Ahmed'in, II. Osman'ın, IV. Murad'ın ve Sultan İbrahim'in kızları ile oğulları gömülüdür.
Türbe İstanbul Türbeler Müdürlüğü'nün yönetiminde olup, müze olarak düzenlenmiş ve ziyarete açılmıştır.
