Location. 42° 9.4′ N, 78° 42.019′ W. Memorial is in Salamanca, New York, in Cattaraugus County. It is on Linwood Avenue 0.3 miles east of Wildwood Avenue (U.S. 219), on the left when traveling north. The monument is at the front of Wildwood Cemetery. Lindwood Avenue is paved with red brick and meets US 219 at a hairpin turn immediately south of the railroad overpass.
