1. Westfield Marker
Inscription.   Settled in 1720 as the West Fields of Elizabethtown. Village grew along Old York Road and later as a stop on the Central Railroad of New Jersey. Major skirmishes in area during the American Revolution. Township 1794, Town 1903.
