Caption: Map of the Oregon, California, Mormon and Overland Trails.
The Mormon pioneers started out from Winter Quarters on the Missouri River on April 15, 1847. They left the Oregon Trail at Fort Bridger, Wyoming, and proceeded through Echo Canyon to Emigration Canyon into the Salt Lake Valley, arriving July 24, 1847.
