In Honor of the crew of the USS Liberty - AGTR 5, in recognition of their courageous and faithful service for military action on June 8, 1967
- The following decorations were awarded -
★ Congressional Medal of Honor ★
2 Navy Crosses
38 Silver - Bronze Stars
208 Purple Hearts
34 KIA     174 WIA
Most decorations for a single ship action in U.S. history.
