1. Hay Barn 1959 Marker
Inscription.  The Hay Barn was constructed in 1959 after an earlier hay barn building burned in the 1958 inferno. The building was rebuilt to allow sunken drive through access for hay trucks through the Main Street opening. The building is constructed of a myriad of building products on concrete pilings overhanging the Napa River. It was, of course, constructed with the most up-to-date fire sprinkler system.
The Hay Barn now hosts business offices, specialty shops and restaurants.

Erected by Napa River Inn.
