1. Dairy Country Marker

Inscription. El Sobrante never attracted heavy industry. Probably the largest commercial enterprise in the town was the S.P. Skow & Sons Dairy, which supplied milk in Richmond and surrounding towns. For most of that time, the dairy was located on Clark Road, one-mile to the east, and operated for over half a century until 1955. Other smaller dairies also operated in the area, including the Lucksinger Dairy at Valley View and May Roads.
