Regarding Captain Braulio Laguardia Morales. Captain Braulio Laguardia Morales was a pilot in the Guatemalan Army. He led a rebel group made up of both Army and civilians that with tanks and artillery attacked the Army's main base of Fort San José in Guatemala City on October 20, 1944. This action was a part of the Guatemalan "October Revolution" that ended the dictatorship of President Ubico. Captain Braulio Laguardia died in the attack.
