Inscription. Mother's Garden was part of the summer estate of H. R. Mayo Thom. The garden was built in the early 1900's by Reginald Giddings for Mr. Thom's wife, Helen Hopkins Thom. The garden was maintained by the Bishop family until the 1960's. In 1982, the abandoned garden was restored to its original beauty by volunteers and the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks.

1. Mothers Garden - Downs Park Pasadena
I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of the original Mothers Garden. There is one picture on the AA County website, but I was hoping someone had some more. Downs Park is attempting to return the gardens to a more Victorian Style & I was hoping for some original pictures. Thanks!!

Editor's Note: Please add any historical images of Mothers Garden to this page. Thank you.
