Regarding Murder of Marshal George Flatt. Marshal George Flatt was shot and killed by a shotgun on Main Street during an ambush at approximately 1:00 am. He was 33 years old and had served 5 years as Marshal.
He is buried in an unmarked grave next to his son in Caldwell City Cemetery.
