1. The Alexander Mack Memorial Library Marker
Inscription. This building was erected 1962-63 and dedicated 1964. It honors the memory of Alexander Mack Sr., follower of Christ, leader of men, and seeker after truth who was founder and first minister of the Church of the Brethren. He was born at Schriesheim, Germany, 1679, migrated under persecution to America and settled at Germantown, Pennsylvania, 1729, died 1735, resting place Germantown Cemetery.
