Text from the second tablet:
This Brigade was brought in haste from near Alexander's house by General Forrest arriving here about 9 a.m. It formed line and attacked Croxton's Brigade then engaged with Forrest's troops but which immediately changed front to receive this attack. Croxton was at first forced considerably to the rear but soon recovered. After an hour's hard fighting with varying success assisting in forcing two lines of battle to retire Wilson's line was attacked on its left flank by Scribner's Brigade and driven back to the ground where it first became engaged. Upon the arrival of Ector's Brigade soon after the 25th and 29th Georgia Regiments went forward with Ector into action.

More about this marker. I used the "Chickamauga Battlefield" map, that I purchased at the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, Visitor Center, to determine both the marker number for this tablet and the tablet's location in relation to the rest of the park's monuments, markers, and tablets. According to the map it provides the, "numerical listing of all monuments, markers, and tablets on the Chickamauga Battlefield (using the Chick-Chatt NMP Monument Numbering System).”
