Marker is on South Crest Road south of East Main Street, on the left when traveling south. This monument is located on Missionary Ridge, in the Bragg Reservation. Once you have entered the Bragg Reservation you will find this monument on the west side of the parking area, along the old Ridge Road that runs through the Bragg Reservation. According to the description information provided by the National Park Service, the monument is, “7' x 2'6" x 7' high granite monument at Bragg Reservation consists of rectangular slab set on two-step base with an projecting capstone. Stones of base are rock-faced, while main slab is polished and inscribed.”
