1. Bushy Run Battlefield Marker
Inscription. British and Americans under Colonel Henry Bouquet defeated the Indians here, August 5-6, 1763, during the Pontiac War, and lifted the siege of Fort Pitt.
 
Erected 1964 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 21.356′ N, 79° 37.53′ W. Marker is near Harrison City, Pennsylvania, in Westmoreland County. Marker is at the intersection of Bushy Run Road (Pennsylvania Route 993) and Harrison Avenue (Pennsylvania Route 130), on the right when traveling west on Bushy Run Road. Touch for map.
