The 2002 purchase of the Wharfside Building (formerly known as Neff Brothers Quality Food Store) culminated the City of Charlevoix's one hundred and six year dedicated effort to purchase properties along the Round Lake waterfront, clearing the way for the development of the City's downtown park system.
