Florence was the guiding light of the Lowell Summer Music Festival at Boarding House Park for seven years. Instantly recognizable, she was the woman with the big smile and the bright red hair who welcomed audiences each weekend. Her energy, intelligence and creativity made it a success. She was a major contributor to Lowell's cultural renaissance for thirty years.
