이 즉우기는 1441년 세계최초로 발명된 강우량을 측정하는 기구임니다. 조선 (과거 한국)의 세종대왕은 측우기를 이용하여 빗물의 양을 과학적으로 추정하고, 체계적으로 기록하여 백성들이 평안하게 살 수 있도록 물을 관리하였습니다. 조선의 물 관리 지혜로 바누아투와 모든 나라의 물 문제가 해결되길 바랍니다.

This "Cheuk-U-Ki", which was invented in 1441, is the world's first instrument to measure rainfall. King Sejong the Great of Joseon (a dynasty immediately before the Republic of Korea) used this rain gauge to scientifically measure and systematically record rainfall to manage water for the benefit of the people. Hopefully, the old Korean wisdom of water management can be used to solve water challenges in Vanuatu and other countries as well.
