1. Charupa Mound Marker
Inscription.
Churupa Plantation Mound was built around AD 1000. The mound was constructed in a single episode on top of the remains of an earlier Indian village. Plowing has altered the original conical shape. Today, the mound is 7 feet tall and 150 by 125 feet at the base.
