Con motivo del 273 aniversario de la fundación fernandina de la Misión de Santiago Apóstol de Jalpan, pueblo y gobierno rinden hoy tributo a la valerosa resistencia de los pueblos originarios de la Sierra Gorda y a la fe inquebrantable de dominicos, agustinos y franciscanos; encuentro de dos culturas.
Sincretismo y amalgama de nuestra identidad serrana.
